The Decade of Change and Transition
We finally did it after 10 years of hope, dreams, persistence, and a lot of PATIENCE. We bought our “Forever Home” in Sauve, France, 30 min north of Nimes, 1 hour from Montpellier, airport, and beaches, 45 min from Uzes. We have dreamed our dream and able to obtain 99% of our criteria. The 1% can be gained by building a fence and adding an electric fireplace. Everything we own is now in our new home. We live and travel more out of suitcases for now. We are still in transition over this next year or two living where we need to work and being as flexible as our life requires at this point. Flexibility, resiliency, and dreams keep us going. So what does that look like:
Planning short term changes while keeping an eye on the long term
Being willing to rent where we need to be and making our home where we are
Taking the time to enjoy old stomping grounds and new ones around the corner
Keeping routines and good habits; cooking at home, eating healthy, exercising
Get out in nature as much as possible
Write in journals, meditate, do yoga
Be proud of he changes we have made and the new ones to come
Taking time to come up with creative ideas for the future while staying grounded in the present
